We are delighted to announce that First Drive Southwest has chosen the Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) as our charity of the year. Exeter Leukaemia Fund is a registered charity providing vital support to patients with blood cancer and other disorders who attend the Haematology Centre at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (RD&E).
ELF has a tremendous vision that every family affected by blood cancers and blood disorders across the South West receives compassionate, tailored support. ELF lightens the load, supporting families from diagnosis and through treatment.
We at First Drive Southwest want to help assist with that vision. Practically we have offered to provide any required driver training to the vital patient transport side of ELF and by raising awareness and fundraising over the year.
