Pass your advanced driving test – first time!

The advanced course is open to anyone wishing to raise their standard of driving. There could be many reasons for wanting to take further training, here some of those reasons are explained.

We’ll teach you:

• Anticipation
  Being able to anticipate what may happen in any given situation is going to dramatically reduce the risk you are exposed to when driving out on the roads. This could be anything from the actions of pedestrians to a hazard around a blind bend.
• Cornering
  Improve your ability to control the car on the approach to, through and exiting a corner. This will enable you to control the car when it is at its least stable.
• Economy
  Improve your economy so that you spend less on fuel and potentially reduce the wear and tear on your car.
• Planning
  Planning what you will do in any given situation will mean you arrive at the hazard prepared to deal with it making driving a more fun experience.
• Rules of the road
  Improve your knowledge of the Highway Code and be in a better position to apply it. Many rules are circumstantial and can be interpreted in different ways.

Driving on UK roads can be fun and it can be stressful. With further training, you can increase the fun you have and reduce the stress you may feel.
